Specimen Carp Fishing at Parkside

Parkside Fishery is a one-acre specimen carp lake in Addlethorpe, just 3 miles from Skegness, Lincolnshire. Home to more than 100 carp with a current lake record of 42lb, the lake features nine well-spaced swims and offers a peaceful setting with limited fishing pressure.

Day-ticket fishing is available from 7am–7pm and must be booked in advance. A maximum of two rods per angler is permitted. Anglers aged 15–17 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.

Overnight Fishing

Overnight fishing at Parkside Fishery is reserved exclusively for guests staying in our lakeside lodges, allowing guests to fish throughout their stay.

24-Hour Fishing

Lodge guests can fish their private swims throughout their stay, including overnight.

Private Fishing Swims

Each lakeside lodge has two private fishing swims reserved exclusively for its guests.

Fishing Charges

Fishing is £15 per angler per 24 hours, with a maximum of two anglers per lodge.

Important Information

All anglers must follow Parkside Fishery’s Fishing Rules. A maximum of two rods per angler is permitted at all times.

We stayed fri - mon in Atlanta Lodge 1. Lodge was lovely and clean, very spacious and had everything you need! WiFi is a great addition (didn’t expect it so was a bonus). The staff were amazing, friendly and helpful. The fishing was slow for the first part of our long weekend but we landed some beautiful specimen. Fish are immaculate, very good condition, well kept. All the fish caught were 20+lb with a good fight in them. We came as a 40th celebration but will definitely be back again soon, location is fab too. Shops only a 3 min drive away. Pub food is delicious and very good sized portions. The hot tub (spa) is lovely too. Well maintained and topped the weekend.

Now come back from 4 nights staying in 1 of the lakeside lodges. The accommodation was brilliant and very clean and the fishing was very good also I had 13 fish ranging from 6lb-24lb only had the 1 small fish rest were 13lb 12oz and bigger with 3 20lb+ fish. The fish were in fantastic condition. Will definitely be returning and would recommend it to anyone.

First time visit, made to feel really welcomed...The Lodge we stayed in was clean, tidy...Has everything needed...The outside area clean and tidy well presented...The hot tub was a bonus... We ate at the Kingshead prices are reasonably priced...And the portions are large...We had the best time Helen, Kelvin, Emma and Kieran Highly recommend a visit for a calm relaxing break

We’ve arrived for a lovely girls weekend and are having a fantastic time. We had food at the pub, which was very reasonably priced and absolutely delicious They even offer a takeaway service, so you can bring your meal back to the lodge, which is a great bonus. It’s so peaceful here and with the hot weather having a hot tub to relax in is just perfect. The lodge itself is absolutely fabulous – the beds are really comfortable, and it has everything you need for a relaxing stay. We’d definitely recommend it and would happily come back again! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Beautiful lodge with all the home comforts. We had an amazing, relaxing and fun stay. Overlooking the fishing lake, we spent our days sunbathing on the terrace and enjoying the hot tub. We also ordered food from the pub on-site, which was great value for money with generous portions. Thank you to Helen, Emma, Kelvin and the whole team for making our stay so special—it’s been a blast! We can't wait to return. The perfect weekend! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Just stayed at Parkside Fishery for a long weekend break Friday- Monday staying in Lodge 2 directly on the end of a superb looking lake. Was greeted by the staff onsite who mentioned our lodge would be ready in 20 mins which was hours before our original check in time - this was a huge bonus as it enabled us to store our food and beer whilst we could concentrate on the fishing. The pegs on the lake are lovely and spacious and give you plenty of room along with an electric hook up with power and USB sockets. The manager soon came along and introduced himself to us and took time to walk me around the lodge and explained everything. The lodge was stunning with 3 bedrooms, a shower room, well equipped kitchen and area and a nice snug living area. Huge TV in the living room with everything you could imagine and TVs in all 3 bedrooms. The hot tub was large enough for 4 people and was lovely and clean. There are 2 further fishing pegs that are included in the stay of your duration and again are very spacious and give you plenty of room. The fishing was a challenge however we still caught fish over the weekend and the fish were superb quality and gave a good fight. Entertainment on site comes by the form of The Kings Head pub which is literally a stones throw away and is a lovely place with superb staff. We went along on Saturday night for the Karaoke Night which was great fun and then returned again on Sunday afternoon for a Sunday Roast, now this was the highlight of the weekend as the food was awesome and I will go as far as saying one of the best Roast Dinners I ever eaten out and the portions are extremely generous - if you normally eat a large meal trust me you will only ever need a medium sized one here, you have been warned!!!! Overall a lovely little gem of a place with fantastic owners and staff, we were made to feel really welcome all weekend and we will definitely be looking at booking again - thanks for a lovely time - Terry, Nath & Dave

Just go back from stay here at lakeside Lodge 2 we had the heatwave while we was there the caravan absolutely beautiful and clean with all bedding and towels provided the garden area is massive and the 2 fishing pegs are perfect. 2 of us was fishing we only managed to catch 2 fish a 18lb and 15lb but the couple in the next van had a 24lb out. And people day fishing was catching too. Staff at the lake are really helpful and friendly give you tips to try to help you catch. Staff at the the Pub are friendly and the food nice and clean would definitely be look at booking next year. Would highly recommend it
