FISHING RULES – PARKSIDE FISHERY

FISH CARE AND YOUR SAFETY

Fish care and your safety are our priority.

  • A valid Environment Agency Rod Licence is required
  • Anglers must be 18 years or over
  • No guests under the age of 15
  • A full carp care kit is mandatory

FISH CARE

The care and welfare of our carp is our number one priority. All anglers must follow these rules, along with any advice or instructions given by management or the bailiff.
All carp must be removed from the water by folding the landing net within the retainer or weigh sling, ensuring all fins are flat to the body before lifting out. Fish must then be placed directly into a cradle.
Any handling of fish for photographs must be done below waist height and over a cradle. Anglers are strongly advised to be on their knees. Fish must be out of the water for the minimum time possible to reduce stress.

Any angler fortunate enough to catch carp over 30lb must notify a member of management or the bailiff. This allows us to regularly monitor the condition of our stock.
