Fish Care

The Fish care and welfare of our carp is our number one priority and all anglers are to follow our rules, advice and any action requests from our management or bailiff.

All Carp should be removed from the water by folding the landing net within the retainer/weigh sling ensuring
all fins are flat to the body prior to lifting out then placed in your cradle. Any handling of our fish for a photo must be done so the carp are held below waist height and above a cradle ( it is recommended that the angler must be on his/her knees ) and must be out of the water for a minimum amount of time to reduce their stress.

Any angler who is lucky enough to catch any of the larger 30lb+ stock are to contact a member of management or the bailiff, this is so we can keep a regular check our stock and their condition.

General Rules

Our fishery has a minimum angler age of 15 although they must be supervised by an adult at all times. No persons under the age of 15 are permitted onto Parkside Fishery including the Lakeside lodges.

We have made it as accessible as possible for all guests and welcome those who may have disabilities however please contact us prior to your visit if you require any special arrangements to be made.
